If your eyeliner pencil skips or tugs on your eyelid or takes multiple coats for a decent color payoff, melt it down slightly before you start lining.

1. Hold the tip of your eyeliner under the flame of a lighter for a second or until it goes tacky.

2. Let it cool slightly then run it over your hand to make sure it’s not too hot, and watch the #consistency change right before your eyes

Beauty hack # 2 … Use a teaspoon to draw the perfect cat’s eye.

1. Hold the stem of a teaspoon against the outer corner of your eye,

2. Use your eyeliner to draw a straight line as the first step for your cat eye. See images below

Aarrggh !! But I have a simple solution

1. Hold a spoon so over your eyelid, pic below, then apply your mascara as normal.

2. As you sweep the mascara wand against your lashes, the residue will coat the back of the utensil rather than your skin. Pure genius.
